Salman Khan guiding Sneha Ullal for second stint in Bollywood

LuckyMumbai, Jan 29: Actress Sneha Ullal, who debuted opposite Salman Khan in ‘Lucky’, is all set to make a comeback in Bollywood following her stint down South.

Salman, 48, who launched the starlet in 2005 film ‘Lucky -No Time for Love’, is now guiding her for the second innings in Hindi movies.

Though ‘Lucky’ failed to garner attention at the box office, Sneha, 28, was noted for her striking similarity with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

“After my debut film ‘Lucky -No Time for Love’ I and Salman have been in touch. I was too naive when I did that film. Now that I have done couple of films in South, I am ready to come back here. Its lately that he has been guiding me for it (comeback),” Sneha said.

“He says its important to look appealing in showbiz. He has given me a gym regime to follow and learn belly dancing. He has always pushed me to do better work and I really look up to him,” she said.

Now that she has acted in few Telugu films, Sneha wants to be very careful while making choices here.

“There have been offers coming my way and I am overwhelmed and nervous at the same time. I am taking my time and want to go slow. As this time there is no room for mistake. I want to be careful as the competition is killer this time,” Sneha said.

When asked if Salman is planning to cast her in one of his upcoming movies, Sneha said, “As of now, there are no film offers from him.”

Mumbai, Jun 15: Actor Sushant Singh Rajput's brother-in-law O.P. Singh, who is the Additional Director General of Police and posted as Special Officer in the Haryana Chief Minister's Office, suspected some foul play in the crime, it is reliably learnt on Monday. He is seeking a thorough probe into the incident.

"Sushant Singh Rajput has been murdered, he cannot commit suicide. I demand CBI enquiry into the matter," Jan Adhikar Party Chief Pappu Yadav told media persona at the actor’s residence in Patna, where his family resides.

The 34-year-old actor was found hanging at his apartment in Mumbai's Bandra on Sunday.

His sister lives in Chandigarh.

State officials said Singh has left for Mumbai soon he came to know about the suicide incident.

Expressing condolences, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said actor Rajput's death is an "irreparable loss" to not only the film industry but also for the entire society.

Mumbai, Aug 1: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said that Sushant Singh Rajput case should not be politicised or used to create friction between Maharashtra and Bihar.

Amid the ongoing criticism faced by the Mumbai Police following an investigation into Rajput's death case, the Chief Minister stressed that Mumbai Police is not "inefficient" while appealing those who have any evidence in regard to the case to step forward.

"Mumbai Police is not inefficient. If anyone has any evidence they can bring it to us and we will interrogate and punish the guilty. Please do not use this case (Sushant Singh Rajput death case) as an excuse to create friction between Maharashtra and Bihar," Thackeray said on Friday.

"Bringing politics in the case is the most deplorable thing to do," he added.

Maharashtra government has filed a caveat before the Supreme Court in the Rajput's death case.

Earlier, Bihar government and Rajput's family have filed caveats in the top court seeking to challenge actor Rhea Chakraborty's petition that sought transfer of the FIR registered in Patna to Mumbai in the actor's death case.

"After Bihar government and Rajput's family filed a caveat in the Supreme Court, Maharashtra government has filed a caveat before the SC today to ensure that no order is passed in Rhea Chakraborty's petition case without hearing its (Maharashtra) side," said Sachin Patil, standing counsel for Maharashtra Government.

A caveat is a legal process, in which the party which had filed it before the concerned court, shall have to be heard definitely before the concerned court passes any order in future.

Bihar Police has sought the assistance of Mumbai police to probe the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Mumbai police Crime Branch officials told ANI. However, the Police are still considering their request.

Bihar Police team reached after an FIR was filed by late actor's father KK Singh against Chakraborty in Bihar under several sections including abetment of suicide.

Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar on Friday announced that Doordarshan will retelecast iconic show 'Ramayana' from Saturday on public demand.

"Happy to announce that on public demand, we are starting retelecast of 'Ramayana' from tomorrow in DD National. One episode in morning 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., another in the evening 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.," Javdekar tweeted.

'Ramayana' is an Indian historical-drama epic television series, which aired during 1987-1988, created, written, and directed by Ramanand Sagar.

The show was a television adaptation of the ancient Indian Hindu epic of the same name, and is primarily based on Valmiki's Ramayan and Tulsidas' Ramcharitmanas.

DD National also said that on public demand, amid the 21-day lockdown, it will broadcast Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan from Saturday.
