Salman Khan re-creates SRK’s DDLJ moments

Salman Khan and his “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” team paid tribute to Shah Rukh Khan by imitating his signature steps on a song from “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.”

In the Dubsmash video, Salman, Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal and others are seen shaking their leg on SRK-Kajol starrer romantic number “Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jaana Sanam” from the 1995 blockbuster. “Prem Dilwala to Raj Dilwale,” Salman captioned the videos.

Earlier, the “Chennai Express” star had tweeted a picture of him and Salman sharing a wrestling pose on the former’s 50th birthday.

Salman is making a comeback to his most-loved role of Prem with “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”, which releases on Diwali. The trailer of Shah Rukh’s “Dilwale” will be attached with the Sooraj Barjatya-directed family drama.

“Dilwale”, also starring Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan and Johnny Lever in prominent roles, will open on December 18.

The film will have a box office face off with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Bajirao Mastani”, featuring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.

New Delhi, Jun 29: Actor Bhumi Pednekar on Monday pledged to feed over 550 impoverished families as a mark of tribute to late Bollywood actor and her 'Sonchiriya' co-star Sushant Singh Rajput.

Pednekar made the announcement through an Instagram post where she shared a picture of the departed actor and penned down a note along with it.

"I pledge to feed 550 impoverished families through the Ek Saath Foundation in the memory of my dear friend. Let us show compassion and love towards everyone that is in need, now more than ever," Pednekar wrote.

The two actors shared screen space in the Abhishek Chaubey directorial which continues to be a critically acclaimed film.

Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai's Bandra residence earlier this month. The detailed post-mortem report has also confirmed that he died by "asphyxia due to hanging."

Mumbai, Jun 10: Bollywood actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma's former manager Disha Salian reportedly committed suicide by jumping off the 14th floor of her apartment in Malad on June 8 night.

Varun Sharma mourned the demise on Instagram, sharing a photo with his former manager and friend.

"Am at a loss of words. Speechless. Numb. It all looks unreal. So many memories. Such a lovely person and a dear friend. You always wore that smile everyday, and with such kindness you dealt with everything that came your way. You will be deeply missed. Prayers and Strength to the Family. I still can't believe Disha you're gone. Gone too Soon," wrote Varun.

The young celebrity manager was reportedly with her fiance when she took the drastic step on June 8 night. She was declared dead on being rushed to a hospital in Borivali.

The police have started an investigation. As per reports, they have recorded the statement of the deceased's parents. Her fiance might also be asked for a statement.

Apart from Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma, Disha has managed comedian Bharti Singh in the past.

Chennai, Feb 5: Income Tax sleuths on Wednesday raided top Tamil film actor Vijay's residence here besides conducting simultaneous searches at several premises linked to a film production house, movie financier and distributors in connection with suspected tax evasion.

The searches, which began in as many as 38 locations in Tamil Nadu, were still on and unaccounted cash of about Rs 25 crore was seized from the premises of a Tamil film financier who had faced allegations of intimidation and arm-twisting to recover money, official sources told PTI.

Also, several documents indicating substantial tax evasion has been seized, sources added.

Vijay, who was away in Cuddalore district for a film shoot, was apprised by authorities about the searches and he was en route to his residence here, they said.

So far nothing has been recovered from the actor's house and the inmates were cooperating with authorities in conducting the searches, sources said.

Raids were also on in the premises of the production house that had made Vijay's hugely successful recent Tamil movie 'Bigil.'

Further details are expected after completion of searches which is likely to continue tomorrow.

The State police has been providing security for carrying out the searches.
