Sanjay Dutt Goes Back To Jail

Sanjay_Dutt_jailMumbai, Mar 21: Sanjay Dutt, who has been granted parole due to his wife Manyata Dutt‘s illness, is going back to jail today, March 21, 2014 as his parole in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case ends today.

Manyata has reportedly been diagnosed with a tumour in the liver and a suspected heart ailment.

Doctor Ajay Chaughule, a senior heart surgeon attending to Manyata, said that she has to undergo some tests after which it can be decided whether a surgery is required.

Sanjay Dutt, was granted thirty days parole in January 2014 and later he applied for one more month extension in February 2014 which was granted till March.

Sanjay Dutt is serving remaining three and half years of imprisonment at Pune Yerawada jail for illegal possession of arms in relation to the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. After celebrating Christmas, New Year, Mahashivratri and Holi at home with family, Sanjay will now return to jail.

This is Sanjay Dutt’s last parole as any convict is eligible for ninety days parole in a calendar year. “Sanjay Dutt has already availed sixty days and this is his last extension”, Mr. Pawar said.

Manyata was admitted at Global hospital on January 08, 2014 after she felt unconscious at home. She was admitted to hospital and after few tests she was diagnosed with tumor and has been operated twice.

The first operation took place on January 11, 2014 while the second operation done on January 22, 2014. Manyata was now advised complete bed rest and asked to take nutritious food.

Doctor Ajay Chaughule, who has been treating Manyata, says, “Biopsy results show that her tumour is non-malignant. Since she has become very weak, she will have to come visit me for weekly check ups. Sanjay Dutt has been by her side all along and he is now taking care of Manayata and their kids.”

It was reported that Manyata had to cut her hair short as she has been losing hair due to vitamin deficiency.

Patna, Jul 29: BJP MLA Neeraj Kumar Singh Bablu, cousin of Sushant Singh Rajput, on Tuesday said that a huge amount of money has been transferred into the account of actress Rhea Chakraborty from the actor's account.

"An FIR has been filed against actress Rhea Chakraborty by the father of Sushant Singh as a huge amount of money has been transferred into her account and they both have joint accounts for some companies through which cheating has been done from her side," Bablu said.

"This is the issue of probe and police will go there and investigate the matter after that everything will be revealed," he added.

He also said that Karan Johar should also be called in for questioning by the Mumbai Police in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.

The statement was given in the backdrop of several top film personalities being questioned in connection with the case.

On July 28, an FIR has been registered against actor Rhea Chakraborty under various sections including abetment of suicide on the complaint of Sushant Singh Rajput's father Krishna Kishor Singh, the police said on Tuesday.

It said that a four-member team has been sent to Mumbai following registration of FIR.
"A four-member team has been sent to Mumbai. The team will collect case diary and other important documents from Mumbai Police," Sanjay Singh, Inspector General, Patna Central Zone said.

In the complaint made to Rajeev Nagar police station in-charge, KK Singh alleged that Rhea Chakraborty and her relatives "committed fraud" and "pressurised the actor for financial gains".

Sushant's father alleged that Chakraborty "got in touch with the actor with a motive to establish herself in the film industry using his contacts and she and her relatives started interfering in his affairs".

Srinagar, Feb 7: Jammu and Kashmir High Court on Friday dismissed a petition seeking a stay on the release of the movie 'Shikara' which is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley.

The film which hit theatres today has Vidhu Vinod Chopra at the helm and narrates the story of the mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990 that forced lakhs to flee their homeland almost overnight following a genocidal campaign by militants.

Shot primarily in the Valley, the movie is being promoted mainly as a journey of love between the lead couple.

Meanwhile, scores of celebrities have stepped forward in the fight against coronavirus by supporting different initiatives to help the ones going through the difficult situation due to coronavirus outbreak.

India's count of positive coronavirus cases reached 18,985 after 1,329 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Tuesday.
Out of the total cases, 15,122 are active cases, 3,259 have been cured and discharged and one has migrated. With 44 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, the toll stands at 603.
