Mumbai, Jan 31: The I-T department has provisionally attached actor Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow in Alibaug by terming it benami property and filed a report before an adjudication authority to confirm the attachment.

Khan needs to file a reply before the authority within 90 days. Once the adjudication authority confirms the attachment, I-T authorities can initiate criminal action too.

The attachment notice was issued last month to Deja Vu Farms under the Prohibition of Benami Property Transactions Act. As per the website of the Registrar of Companies, Deja Vu Farms Pvt Ltd was incorporated on December 29, 2004, with interests in crops, gardening and horticulture. Namita Chhiba, Ramesh Chhiba and Savita Chhiba are named as its directors.

The 7/12 land extracts show the bungalow stands on four plots (118/1/A and B, 188/2, 188/3, 188/4) in Thal village, and Moreshwar Ajgaonkar, a director of Deja Vu Farms, is mentioned as property owner.

The farmhouse covers 19,960 sq m and has a swimming pool and private helipad. Khan gave an unsecured loan of Rs 8.5 crore to Deja Vu Farms, officials said.

The department alleged the unsecured loan was used by Deja Vu for purchasing land. This land in Thal was agricultural and meant for farming, so Ajgaonkar claimed he was an agriculturist, an official said. The land was transferred in the company's name with the condition that it will be used for farming within three years.

In 2011, Namita Chhiba was appointed director of Deja Vu in place of Ajgaonkar. Ramesh Chibba, Savita Chibba, and Namita Chibba are Khan's father-in-law, mother-in-law and sister-in-law respectively, I-T authorities said.

The Alibaug tehsildar's office found a swimming pool developed on the plot without permission and served a notice for violation of CRZ rules.

Alibaug tehsildar Prakash Sakpal said I-T officials had taken away the 7/12 land extracts. A farm land shed (built in 1986) had earlier been there, but a swimming pool constructed on the plot (188/1/B) later led to the serving of notices for violating CRZ rules, Sakpal said.

In November 2017, Raigad collector Dr Vijay Suryavanshi had said that SRK's bungalow was among 87 which had allegedly flouted CRZ rules.

New Delhi, April 6: Acknowledging on being scared and talking of not seeing his family for three weeks, actor Salman Khan along with nephew Nirvaan on Sunday shared their lockdown experience in a video message.

The 54-year-old star, without disclosing where the actor actually is, shared a video message on Twitter along with his brother Sohail Khan's son, Nirvaan.

Salman began the one-minute and 26-seconds long video, by saying: "We came here for a few days and now we're stuck and scared"

The 'Bharat' actor then introduced Nirvaan and asked him "How long has it been since you saw your father?", to which Nirvaan replied, "It must have been three weeks."

"I have not seen my father for three weeks. We are here and he is alone at home," Salman added.

The 'Sultan' actor then asks the boy: "You remember the film dialogue, 'the one who got scared, died.' It does not apply here in this situation. We are scared and bravely we admit that we are scared. Please don't be brave in this situation."

Nirvaan also further requested everybody to stay safe and maintain social-distance.

"I think it's better for everyone to stay home, avoid contact and I think the longer we stay indoors the faster this ends," he added.

The 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' star concluded the video by saying: "The one who got afraid saved himself and lives of others around him. Moral of the story, 'We're all scared'."

Urging people to take the government's advisory of self-isolation seriously amid the rising cases of coronavirus in the country, the megastar had earlier shared a video message for fans.

Mar 11: The shooting of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai has been completed, and the film will now release on schedule.

If one recalls, the film went on the floors in the first week of November 2019 and was supposed to be Salman’s fastest completed film. However, the movie faced a variety of roadblocks — It was first to be wrapped in the first week of February, “But Salman went off to his Panvel farmhouse after the release of Dabangg 3 and spent a while there ushering in his birthday,” a source reveals.

“Then, the extension of the show Bigg Boss 13 by five weeks also turned out to be another speed breaker. Then, Salman wanted to make sure that the film was being made as good as what his audiences wanted on Eid. He made sure that his director Prabhudeva got what he wanted from the performers and didn’t want to rush him.

"Additionally, the Azerbaijan schedule of the film also got cancelled as Salman did not want to take any chances with the cast and crew with the lurking Covid 19, and rescheduled the shoot in India. This is now complete, barring any patchwork that might emerge later,” our source adds.

Radhe is slated to be an Eid release, which will clash with Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb.
