New Delhi, Nov 13: The son-in-law of former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has been arrested for allegedly subjecting his wife to domestic violence.
The accused Imran and Dikshit 's daughter Latika had been living separately. He has been booked under the Domestic Violence Act after the victim filed a complaint at the Barakhamba Road Police station and a case under relevant provisions of Domestic Violence Act was registered.
Imran had separated from Dikshit's daughter, ten months back.
Visakhapatnam, Jun 30: Two people were killed and four others were taken ill after benzene gas leaked at a pharmaceutical company at Parawada near here early on Tuesday morning, official sources said.
The situation was now under control as the leak was restricted to one unit in the Sainor Life Sciences company, the sources said.
The two killed were senior employees of the company, they said.
The injured persons have been admitted to a hospital in Gajuwaka, with one of them being put on ventilator support, the sources added.
District Collector V Vinay Chand and Police Commissioner R K Meena visited the company to take stock of the situation.
The cause of the leak that took place in a reactor unit at the plant is yet to be established.
The incident comes nearly two months after 11 people were killed and over 1000 taken ill after gas leak at a chemical plant here.
Bengaluru, Feb 19: Bengaluru City Crime Branch (CCB) on Wednesday raided a spa in Koramangala area and rescued six girls.
The owner of the spa is absconding and the manager has been arrested.

Moradabad, Jun 17: Two children died after they accidentally got locked inside a car while playing in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad, the police said.
Four children, aged between 4 and 7 years, locked themselves inside the car while playing and were found unconscious soon after, the police added.
"All four children were found unconscious in a car and they were taken to the hospital. Two of them died and the other two are undergoing treatment at the hospital," said Amit Kumar Anand, superintendent of police (city) Moradabad.
The children were related to each other, the police said.
The man who owns the car said the children had locked themselves inside. "When we reached, the children were in an unconscious state. Two of the four children died. The incident occurred around 8 am."
