The SHEPHERDS’ International Academy hosts the FEST 2018-19

A School Fest is a way to encourage the involvement of Families and the School together in a fun and meaningful way.  Such an engagement was organized by the SHEPHERDS’ International Academy on Sunday 31st March 2019 at our new school premises at Ivory enclave, S.L. Mathias Road in Attavar.

Corporator Mr. Abdul Rauf  and the Chairman A.K. Group of Companies Mr. A. K Ahmed were the Chief Guests. They jointly inaugurated the FEST  by ribbon cutting ceremony. Many fun filled games and activities were arranged to enjoy and participate, such as Clay Modeling, Art & Craft activities, Paintings, Origami etc. The enthusiastic children involved themselves in all the activities,  but the most awaited eye catcher was  Pottery and Hand painting corners. A mesmerizing delight Selfie Corner was another major attraction. Our teachers ensured active participation by each child who visited the festive premises.

A FEST  is not complete without a yummy treat. There were multicusine Food Stalls serving delectable Food Items like various types of snacks, original fresh  honey, sweets, desserts & cakes, ice creams, dress materials, cosmetics and Tupperware pulling in a large number of people  and were appreciated for their amazing varieties and quick service.

Bouncing Castle was the special attraction for the children.

Truly,  the FEST was a fun filled day for the families and the kids.

Mangaluru, Jan 14: The Star Education Institute organized Talents day celebration on 14th January 2020.

This program was presided by Janab Muhammed Saleem Malar, the Director of Star Education Institute, who gave the message about the encouragement of students talent.

The Chief guest of today’s program was Sunil Kumar Bajal , Ex- President old students union Mangaluru, who gave a message about Young generation and their role in the development of the nation.

Mrs. Prabha Naveen, Principal of Star Education Institute who gave the report of the activities of the Institute.

Mohammed Fatheen SPL and Zohara Farahath Secretary were also present on the dias.

Miss. Raksha P. J Science faculty welcomed the gathering. Miss Dipthi D’silva, Commerce faculty and Miss. Thanushree Computer faculty call out the prize list. Mrs. Deepa Lokanath, Commerce faculty proposed a vote of thanks. This programme was anchored by Mrs. Mohini. S. Thereafter the cultural programme was presented by the students.

The Department of Business Administration organised a Webinar on Career Planning and Development for the Under Graduate and PUC students of various colleges on 23 May 2020. Sr Dr Venissa A.C, Principal, inaugurated the programme and conveyed her best wishes. Mr Abhilash K, Managing Director of Abhijnya Education Private Limited was the Resource speaker.

Mr Abhilash said that a student should assess themselves, evaluate their career skills, set career goals in order to implement and maximise their career plan. He listed out the various courses available after completion of PUC/Degree. He also said that the students need to create their own future, assess their strengths, build personality and explore various options available to build their own career. He gave a few tips on how to prepare for the various competitive exams and manage time.

The Webinar had 125 participants from various colleges who actively participated by asking their doubts on Career Planning. The programme was conducted on Google Meet. Dr Neethu Suraj, Assistant Professor of BBA welcomed the Resource speaker and the participants, Mr Elson Dsouza Assistant Professor of BBA delivered the vote of thanks and Mrs Sabina Dsouza HOD of BBA coordinated the programme.

Mangaluru: As many as 22 students of Shakti PU College wrote second PUC exams and from that 8 students passed 
with distinction, 14 students passed with first class, and achieved 100% results in 
science and commerce streams.

Students from science & commerce dept. PRIYA VIONA DSILVA, SANKALPA 
GIRISH, SHARATH KUMAR, KATHIJA RAHIFA, K.T. THARUN AYYAPPA, 
RAHIL UMAR FARUK, TUSHAR S, KDEEJA SHAHAMA, passed with distinction.

Akshaya Acharya, B Anil Kumar, S Writhwik K.T., K.S. Varun, Madhuraj PC, Nazila 
Fathima, Pratheek S, Rajath R Gujaran, Uruthik, Riza Basheer, Saania Eraam, Shreya 
Somanna, P.B. Sayyed Mohammed Moosa, Viba S, passed with first class,

College Director Dr. K.C. Naik, Secretary Sanjith Naik, Advisory chairman Ramesh K, 
College development Officer Prakiyath Rai, College Principal Prabhakar J.S. and 
Shakthi Residential College principal Vidya G Kamath, praised all the students for their 
performance and also to their teaching staff, who put their efforts and hard works to 
bring their students to this level.
