Kannur, Jan 4: A Sub-Inspector attached to Ramankari Police Station in Alappuzha allegedly committed suicide by consuming poision in a hotel room here on Friday.
Police said the deceased was identified as Augustine.
Augustine was to retire from service in March 2019.
A suicide note addressed to his family members was also recovered from the room and it was suspected that family dispute was behind the reason for the suicide, police added.
Bengaluru, Apr 6: Popular Kannada comedy actor Prakash, popularly known as Bullet Prakash in the film industry, died due to multi-organ failure at a private hospital in the City on Monday.
He was 44.
He is survived by wife, one son and a daughter.
