May 27, 2015

Mumbai, May 27: 'Karan Arjun aa gaye!' That's what Twitter said as Shah Rukh Khan tweeted the teaser look of Salman Khan's forthcoming film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' on the social media on Tuesday.

Bajrangi BhaijaanKhan surprised fans by showing "brotherly" love towards foe-turned-friend Salman by releasing the first look of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" via his Twitter page.

"I believe Being a brother is bigger than being a Hero. 'Bhaijaan' coming Eid 2015. How do you like the first look?," Shah Rukh tweeted. The link was later shared by director Kabir Khan on his Twitter page.

A rugged Salman is seen in a brown outfit with a gada (mace)-shaped pendant hanging around his neck in the first look of the movie. The 'Dabangg' star's complete face is not shown in the poster.

The trailer of the film, which recently wrapped up its shooting in Kashmir, is expected to hit tomorrow. Salman and Shah Rukh, who had a bitter fallout in 2008 at a party, indicated a thaw in their relationship by sharing a hug at an Iftar party in 2013.

They further cemented their bond when Shah Rukh attended Salman's sister Arpita Khan's wedding last November and posed for a happy picture with brother-sister duo.

The 'Happy New Year' star also visited Salman at his residence a day ahead of his hit-and-run verdict.

Even Aamir Khan tweeted the first look of the film but unlike SRK, Aamir chose to just tweet the picture and caption it as coming soon.

The Khan trio, who have ruled the Box Office in Bollywood for over three decades have been pitted against each other throughout their career. BUt off screen they shared a close bond. While SRK and Salman in the middle had a fallout, Aamir has maintained his friendship with both the actors all these years. With both Khans promoting Salman's upcoming film, looks like this one is going to have a bumper opening.

Mumbai, Jun 17: A lawyer on Wednesday moved a criminal complaint against 8 persons, including Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and producer-director Karan Johar, in a local court regarding the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

The court had fixed July 3 as the next date of hearing.

In his complaint filed in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha alleged that these eight persons forced Sushant to commit suicide under a conspiracy which, he pleaded, amounted to murder.

Others named in the complaint are Aditya Chopra, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Ekta Kapoor, and director Dinesh.

The complainant claimed that these persons did not let Sushant's movies get released under a conspiracy and the late actor was not even invited to film functions because of these people.

Ojha said that Sushant Singh Rajput's death had not only hurt the people of Bihar but the entire country.

He said the complaint had been filed under Sections 306, 109, 504 and 506 and Bollywood actor Kangana Ranawat had been listed as a witness in the case.

Sushant Singh Rajput had allegedly committed suicide at his Bandra flat in Mumbai on Sunday.

Mumbai, May 17: TV actor Manmeet Grewal, who worked on shows like "Aadat Se Majboor" and "Kuldeepak", committed suicide after struggling with dwindling finances amid lockdown, family friend-producer Manjit Singh Rajput said.

Grewal, who was originally from Punjab, hanged himself on Friday night at his Kharghar residence here where he lived with his wife. He was 32.

Rajput, who had known Grewal for nearly seven years, said the actor was facing "financial crisis" and wasn't able to earn due to the lockdown.

"He was going through a major financial issue and he was also in depression. The added pressure of not being able to repay loans amid this (no work phase) got to him. His wife is completely shocked and devastated," Rajput told PTI.

The producer said last rites of the actor were performed on Saturday.

Grewal was working on projects like a webseries and some commercials, which were put on hold due to the nationwide lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.
