Social worker Mahamood Saad Monu no more

Mangaluru, Nov 15: Mahamood Saad Monu, aka ‘Bavaka’ passed away in Mangaluru on Tuesday, November 15. He was 60.

obituaryMahamood Saad Monu was known for his kind and helping nature and he had extended support to various charitable activities. He was the Ex-President of Jam’iyyatul Falah’s Dammam Unit and served Jam’iyyatul Falah for the last 28 years since the inception of JF in Dammam. For the last three decades he worked and established his own business in Al-Khobar.

His sudden death has brought a pall of gloom among his close friends and all the member of Jam’yyatul Falah. Mahmood Saad Monu is highly respected personality for keeping a very close relationship with everybody and adorable to all for his warmth and hospitality.

He is survived by his wife and six children.

Such a noble kind soul, always cheerful and helpful to all. Know him since my school days. He was a close friend of my two elder brothers and treated me as a younger brother. He lived his life fully and in the service of the needy and Deen. May Allah grant him maghfirat and a place in the Jannah Ameen.

I was shocked hearing the sudden demise if my dear friend marhoom Mahmoud Saad. He was exemplary gentleman and very dedicated Jf members from its inception. He was the pillar of Jf Dammam unit committee. Always ready to do anything for the sake of community and to support the under privilege section of the society.
May bless him place in Jannah for his noble service to the humanity.A Ameen..
We all NRCC members will miss him for his friendly, charming nature and dedicated social worker.

Mahmood saad was my uncle n a very close friend of my dad.. He was a great man .. He won hearts of many with his love and hospitality and never failed to charm people with his cheerful smile .. Indeed a good and memorable servant of Allah has passed away and we all pray that his soul rests in peace and may Allah grant him with jannatul firdous.. We all will miss you ..

The sudden death of Mr. Mahmood saad made me dumbfounded. I know him since very young age, he was the person of good humor and pleasing natured. Among the friends his presence always been joyous and good thoughts.

Mangaluru: ‘Team B-Human’, a city based charity organisation, has donated Rs 1 lakh for the treatment of the a three-year-old child from Kinya on the outskirts of the city, who had sustained severe burn injuries.

According to the reports, a cleric at the Kodaje Badriya Juma Masjid, was living in hardship with his wife and two kids and had to recently avail loan to repair his house which was severely damaged due to storm.

To add to his woes, his three-year old son sustained 80% burn injuries after hot water fell on him accidentally. The child is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Derlakatte. The child’s brother is battling kidney related ailment.

A fundraising campaign was recently run on local social media platforms to help the cleric in sustaining in the hardship and to raise fund for the treatment of his son.

Taking note of the viral messages on social media, ‘Team B-Human’ came to the rescue of cleric and donated Rs 1 lakh.

‘Team B-Human’ has also arranged Rs. 70 thousand from its well-wishers which will also be deposited to cleric’s account soon. ‘Team B-Human’ in a release added that it will take care of Batish until he is discharged from the hospital post-treatment. 

Founder of ‘Team B-Human’, Asif Deals, members Basha, Althaf, Sadiq, Shameem and others were present when the cheque of Rs. one lakh was handed over to the cleric.

Mandya, Apr 3: Following the lock down in the country, people habit ventured into Liquor bottles worth several lakhs of rupees have been stolen at two places in the district.

Miscreants targeted a wine store at Chikka Mandya on the outskirts of the town in the early hours and also made away with the stock from a wine store near Hadly Circle in Malavalli town late night on Thursday. The incidents came to light on Friday.

A window was broken open at Chikka Mandya store and a wall was drilled at Malavalli store to take away the cartons, the police said.

Madikeri, Jun 9: A rare Rurk’s Ristella Skink was found by some wildlife enthusiasts on their way to Madapur in Kodagu district.

Ristella Rurkii, commonly known as Rurk’s Ristella, is a species of skink endemic to the Western Ghats of Southern India. It is a small, insectivorous, diurnal skink found in Shola grasslands and rain forests of hills ranges in parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

The specific name, rurkii, is in honour of “Dr Rurk” who collected the type specimen in the Annamalai Hills, High Ranges, Travancore, and the Palani Hills, of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It is endemic to rainforests South of Palghat Gap.
