New Delhi, Aug 13: Congress President Sonia Gandhi Wednesday accused Modi government of imitating UPA schemes and following a policy of minimum governance. "Nothing new to offer the country, "they are welcome to steal our ideas...imitation is the best form of flattery".
She said the BJP, since coming to power, has implemented the policies that were introduced by the government her party led till May, when it was crushed in the national election.
"They are welcome to steal our ideas...imitation is the best form of flattery". It has been a challenging time for us. We have been reduced to an all-time low number in Lok Sabha, she added.
She also said that the party will attack the government over incidents of communal violence. "Congress will fight with full might to revive itself, attack government over incidents of communal violence," Sonia Gandhi said at the Congress Parliamentary Party meet here.
The party has also given adjournment notice in the Lok Sabha to discuss communal violence, said the official twitter handle of Indian National Congress.
