Belagavi, Oct, 30: Former chief minister and Opposition Leader of Karnataka Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah said that BS Yeddiyurappa-led government had failed to provide any relief to the flood-affected people in the state.
He was speaking with media persons at Circuit House in Belagavi on Tuesday evening and said that BJP government in the state totally failed to maintain the flood situation and distribute the suitable compensation to the flood victims and affected people.
When we wanted to discuss on grave flood situation the government held session only for three days winter and instead of taking swift action on flood relief, the Chief Minister was engaged in political affairs, he alleged.
