Bengaluru, Sept 24: Nearly a year after her show for New Year’s Eve was cancelled in Karnataka’s capital, porn star-turned-Bollywood mega star Sunny Leone is set to enthral her crazy fans in Bengaluru.

According to report, the first official concert of the Canadian-born Indian-American actress in the garden city of India will be held on November 3.

The 37-year-old actress was scheduled to make an appearance in the city in December 2017 but the state government had denied permission for the event following vehement protests by pro-Kannada activists who had threatened to obstruct the event.

The venue this year remains the same, the White Orchid hotel within Manyata Tech Park on the Outer Ring Road. However, this time around, noted artist Raghu Dixit will also be part of the event. Called #FusionNights, the event will feature Dixit alongside Leone who would perform on 3 songs, including a Kannada song, according to the organizers.

M S Harish, the organiser, said that the necessary permissions and clearances from the police had also been obtained for the event and that the police had also agreed to provide protection at the venue if required.

Good news. Indeed it’s a victory for all women. Sunny Leone is very much part of Indian culture. I agree that she has an unfortunate past. But, past is past. And she is the present super star who has overtaken all three oldie khans of bollywood.

Mangaluru, May 19: In a bizarre incident which exposes the publicity craze of “philanthropists”, members of a city-based organisation returned without disturbing grocery kits after villagers refused to be photographed while receiving them.

The incident took place at Mukrampady village in Puttur a few days ago. According to sources, a team belonging to an organisation from Mangaluru had visited the village with a letter from their organisation, to distribute grocery kits to families near mosques in the month of Ramadan.

The team members reportedly insisted the beneficiaries to pose for pictures with the team near a mosque while being given the food kit. The villagers refused to fulfil their wish.

The organisation members then left the place without handing over the Ramadan kits, sources said.
