Udupi, Oct 15: A gang broke into the Ermadi Kalkuda Daivasthana at Havanje village near Brahmavar between 11.30 a.m. on Thursday and 7.45 a.m. on Friday and decamped with silver ornaments valued at Rs. 52,000, according to the police.
A case has been registered at the Brahmavar police station. Investigation is on, the police said.

Mandya, Jul 6: With a journalist from Srirangapatna testing positive for Covid-19, the Mandya District Journalists Association was sealed as a precautionary measure.
Association President K C Manjunath said on Monday that as the reporter has tested positive for Covid-19, it was voluntarily decided to seal down the premises for another month.
Belagavi, Jan 16: Six Poachers were arrested in two different cases at Gollahalli forest range in Kittur section in the district on Thursday.
The arrested were identified as Bharmesh alias Bharmappa Hanumant Bhajantri, Mallesh Hanumant Bhajantri residents of Budanakatti in Bailahongal Taluk.
Another alleged accused Yuvraj Basappa Bhajantri managed to escape.
