Belagavi, Sept 7: Karnataka Minister for Rural Development and Panchayatraj K S Eshwarappa today said that a two-day reviewing meeting will be held at Suvarna Soudha here on September 8 and 9 to take stock of the flood situation in the State.
Speaking to newsmen at Manjari bridge in Chikkodi Taluk after inspecting the crop loss in the catchment area of river Krishna on Saturday, he said that the prevailing situation will be discussed with department officials in detail and also about steps to be taken to mitigate the problems faced by the affected people in the flood-ravaged 22 Districts of the State.
The Minister visited flood-affected areas in the District along with Zilla Panchayat CEO K V Rajendra and ZP President Asha P Aihole.
