Anushkas_defenceFeb 18: Virat Kohli seems to be very angry these days. Rumours of Anushka Sharma and him dating each other have been the talk of the town, stealing away focus from his cricket. Recently when Anushka Sharma was invited to be a part of Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee…’ on the couch, the whole show centred around the romance, or rather the ‘special friendship’ Anushka and Virat share.

Virat has always been very tight-lipped about his relationships as he feels that it takes too much attention from his cricket keeping him in the news for the wrong reasons. Virat and Anushka did a shampoo commercial together and have been all over each other since then. Both of them were seen holidaying in New Zealand recently as well.

A source that happens to be an insider to the story informed, “Virat Kohli wasn’t happy that his budding friendship with Anushka was the focus of so much attention on ‘Koffee With Karan’. Virat doesn’t want anyone talking about his friendship with the actress as he wants to focus only on cricket. He has always been low-key about his girlfriends and that is one of the reasons why their relationship is being kept a secret. When he is ready, they will talk about it.”

While the entire nation apparently went into a frenzy over Anushka’s lips after the show, Virat stood up to defend his lady love. “Virat feels that whatever Anushka has done to her lips is her private matter,” said the source. Now both of them really are very good friends indeed, heh heh…

New Delhi, May 28: On the World Menstrual Hygiene Day, former Miss World Manushi Chhillar on Thursday underlined the need to spread awareness on feminine hygiene.

The 23-year-old star has been roped in by UNICEF to spread awareness on the need to educate girls on personal hygiene.

Chhillar put out a post on Instagram expressing the need to educate girls with all information on maintaining hygiene, constructing adequate sanitation facilities and providing quick access to feminine hygiene products.

Manushi, who is participating in the UNICEF global initiative called the Red Dot Challenge, stated, "Every young girl has the right to accurate information about her body. Without the right information, girls often don't know how to safely manage their period. It's time to break the silence. I am calling all girls, boys, women and men to take the #RedDotChallenge with me. Because of Menstruation Matters. @unicefindia."

Along with the post, Chhillar shared her pictures with red dots on her hand representing the 'Red Dot Challenge.'

The former Miss World runs her own initiative on menstrual hygiene called 'Project Shakti' that works across several states of India.

The beauty queen turned actor will debut in Bollywood with the highly anticipated historical-drama 'Prithviraj' opposite Akshay Kumar. She will be playing the royal princess Sanyogita, whose tales of beauty mesmerised an entire nation.

Mumbai, Aug 7: Bhojpuri actress Anupama Pathak has died allegedly by suicide in Dahisar East, her Mumbai residence on August 2.

The police have recovered a suicide note.

Initially, an accidental death case was registered which was later converted into FIR under section 306 (abetment of suicide) of IPC against a person and a company, the police said.

Further investigation by Mumbai's Kashimira Police is underway.

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 15: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has condoled the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and recalled his support to the state during the floods in 2018.

The 34-year old Bollywood actor was found hanging at his apartment in Mumbai on Sunday.

"We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. His early demise is a great loss to the Indian Film industry. Our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and supporters," Vijayan said in a tweet.

"We take a moment to remember his support during the time of Kerala floods

During the deluge in August, 2018, a fan had tagged him in a comment on his Instagram post and said, he don't have the money, but wanted to donate some food.

The actor, who spotted the comment, replied that he will donate Rs one crore in his fan's name.

Rajput donated Rs one crore to CMDRF in the name of his fan and uploaded the screenshot saying, My Kerala.
