Vishwesha Theertha Swami, Seer of Udupi Pejawar Mutt, Passes Away at 88

Udupi, Dec 29: Pejavara Mutt Seer Vishwesha Teertha Swami passed away on Sunday.

Announcing the sad demise of the revered seer, Udupi MLA K Raghupati Bhat said, "Pejavara Mutt Seer Vishwesha Teertha Swami passed away at Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt."

Earlier on Saturday, he was admitted to Kasturba Hospital after his condition became critical. Later he was transferred back to Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt with ventilator support. Since morning special prayers were also held for the recovery of Teertha Swami.

Apart from being a revered spiritual leader, Theertha Swami was also well known for his social and educational work.

He was also active in Ram Janam Bhoomi movement and was a vocal supporter of cow protection movement.

Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa condoled the death of the seer, who was the 33rd swamiji in the lineage of the Pejawar Math heads.

who ever dead we should respect the soul bcoz..it belong to GOD almighty...

if he done good he will get heaven if he do idol worshipping then (                  ) .....

Idol worshipping is the biggest sin ever done by mankind, you cant insult GOD by placing some stone, many hands and tunge out and animal figur.

 

GOD is beautiful, he is merciful he dont harm any mankind unless they cross the evilist boundry.

 

he had many sin in his hand, one of the member in demolishing the God worshipping place (baber masjid).

Na tasya pratima asti (Yajurveda 32.3). It means "of that Almighty God there is no pratima (image, painting,idol) " 

 

Enlighting from the verses of the Quran :

 

Quran 29:57 - Every soul will taste death, then it is to Us that you will be returned.

 

 

Quran 3:26 - Say, "O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent.

 

Quran 3:27 -  You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; and You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give provision to whom You will without account."

 

 

Quran 3:30 - The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And Allah warns you of Himself, and Allah is Kind to [His] servants."

Mangaluru, Apr 6: City Police Commissioner Dr P S Harsha has directed coastal security personnel to block the boat service near Talapady after reports of Kasarogod people using boats to cross over to Dakshina Kannada via Talapady river emerged, Dakshina Kannada District in-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary said here on Monday.

Following the rise in Coronavirus cases in the neighbouring Kasargod district, District Commissioner Sindhu Roopesh ordered closure of borders with Kerala and totally suspended vehicular movement, including for medical emergencies.

However, now the people living in Talapady and surrounding areas allege that the government has failed to monitor people using boats to cross over to Dakshina Kannada via Talapady river.

Mangaluru, Apr 4: The mother and grandmother of the 10-month-old baby boy, under treatment at a private hospital in Deralakatte here for COVID-19 infection, tested negative.

Doctors at the hospital said the condition of the infant, who was admitted with an acute respiratory infection, was stable and there had been a good response to the treatment being given in isolation.

The child, hailing from Sajipanadu Village in Bantwal Taluk was admitted to a hospital at Deralakatte in Mangaluru for treatment on March 23 as it had developed respiratory problems. 

On March 24, the child’s condition worsened and hence his throat swabs was sent for COVID-19 testing. On March 27, reports of the tests confirmed that the child was infected with COVID-19.

Health authorities are of the view that the baby might have contracted the disease when the family travelled recently to Kasaragod in Kerala, a district identified as a hotspot for Coronavirus.

Mangaluru, Jan 4 The International Kite Festival, will be the main attraction of the Karavali Utsav being held here from January 10-19.

Deputy Commissioner Sindhu Roopesh said on Saturday that a variety of cultural programmes are scheduled on the occasion of Karavali Utsav being organized by the DK District Administration at the Karavali Utsav grounds, Kadri Park and Panambur Beach.

Cultural programmes will be presented by budding local artistes of State, National and International fame. All facilities for the cultural programmes will be set up at the Kadri park and Karavali Utsav grounds.

The programme will begin with a cultural procession from Nehru Maidan on 10 January followed by the Inauguration at the Karavali Utsav grounds.
