Why Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won't do a film with hubby Abhishek Bachchan

Mumbai, Sep 3: Some very tempting offers, including Prahlad Kakkad’s Happy Anniversary, have come Aishwarya and Abhishek’s way. But audiences are unlikely to see them together in the near future.

And there’s a good reason for this: The couple’s bundle of joy, their daughter Aaradhya.

Mom Aishwarya’s top priority is her precious little girl. Everything else comes later. Though Aish is looking at scripts and would be doing a comeback film soon, it won’t star Abhishek.

Says a source close to the family. “Aishwarya is a fully hands-on mother. She doesn’t let anyone take care of Aaradhya as long as she is around. And if Aishwarya has a commitment to attend to, Abhishek looks after the baby. Aaradhya too depends entirely on her mother. And if there’s anyone the little girl depends on after her mother, it is her father. It would therefore be foorlhardy for both Aishwarya and Abhishek to be shooting for the same film.

Aishwarya would like to do a film where her schedules don’t match with Abhishek’s so that one parent can be with Aaradhya when she is shooting.”

Hence, no film featuring the couple together at least until Aaradhya starts going to school.

Washington, Mar 10: British adventurer Bear Grylls on Monday shared the power-packed trailer of `Into The Wild` episode featuring South Indian superstar Rajinikanth.

The video captures Rajinikanth driving through the forests of Bandipur in Karnataka, where the episode has been filmed. The 45-year-old adventurer shared the daredevil video on Twitter featuring Rajinikanth amid the woods and in the background, Grylls is heard saying "He`s faced a lot of fears, but he never gives up. He`s relentlessly positive."

He captioned the post on Twitter and wrote: "Superstar @Rajinikanth`s relentless positivity and never giving up spirit was so visible in the wild as he embraced every challenge thrown at him. Respect! Watch Into The Wild with @BearGryllson March 23 at 8:00 pm. @DiscoveryIN#ThalaivaOnDiscovery."

The video shows the Padma Bhushan actor and Grylls climbing hills and wading through gorges and ravine. The duo is seen driving through the Deccan forest. Amid the video, Grylls is seen addressing Rajinikanth as a "superhero." The actor is seen pulling off his signature `sunglass` move.

Earlier in February, the adventure show host shared an intriguing motion poster marking superstar Rajinikanth`s blockbuster TV debut in Discovery`s `Into the Wild`. Grylls also shared that it was a special experience for him to work with the Rajinikanth.

In January, Rajinikanth suffered minor injuries while shooting for the special episode of `Man vs Wild` Bandipur forest in Karnataka.

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajinikanth becomes the second Indian personality to be featured on Grylls` survival show.

The episode with Prime Minister Modi was aired last year in August and became quite an attraction among viewers.

Washington D.C., Mar 1: British actor Daniel Radcliffe in a recent interview said he is not rushing back to reprise the role of young wizard, Harry Potter, anytime soon.

The 30-year-old star who rose to fame with the first eight films in J.K. Rowling's famed franchise, told Variety that he doesn't like to say no to things but reprising the role in the 'Fantastic Beasts' prequels is not something he's "rushing to do".

"I feel like those films have moved on and they're doing just fine without us. I'm happy to keep it that way. I like what my life is now," Radcliffe told the outlet.

"I'm not saying that I'll never go back into any franchise, but I like the flexibility that I have with my career now. And I don't want to get into a situation where I'm signed up for one series for years in advance," cited Variety as Radcliffe as saying.

Radcliffe is currently gearing up for his upcoming mystery-thriller 'Escape from Pretoria,' a true-life prison drama, where he is set to essay the character Tim Jenkin.

The forthcoming flick is set to hit the theatres on March 6.
