Apply cow dung on your mobile to block harmful radiations, says RSS leader

Everyone knows that mobile phones emit harmful radiation. And a senior leader of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has suggested a cow dung solution (you may also call it bullshit' solution!) to prevent you from such harmful radiations.cow-dung-phone

In an interview to a reputed English newspaper, Shankar Lal, RSS's Akhil Bharatiya Gau Sewa pramukh, revealed that he applied gobar (cow dung) on the back of his phone to block the harmful microwaves.

“It is fresh cow dung. I have put it to save myself from the harmful radiations of the cellphone. It works, believe me,” said the 76-year-old leader showing the back of his phone to the puzzled reporter.

Reiterating that cow is his mother, the RSS ideologue said that its excreta and urine are nectar and have power to save humans from any disease. He also claimed that cow dung can treat cancer.

“Haven't you heard that Junagadh scientists (in Gujarat) have found gold in cow's urine? I put fresh gobar every week,” said Shankar Lal.

Asked if other members of the Gau Sewa also apply gobar on their mobile, he gestured to four others two show their phones, that also cow dung at the back.

“All the people in my team, be it children, men or women, have cow dung on their phone. Why won't they? They know its magical effects,” he said.

To a query if he can prove that cow dung can block “harmful phone waves”, he replied: “See this pendulum. See how when I place it over the hand of this RSS worker, it starts swinging (he gives it an initial jerk). Look, this man's body has so much energy and the pendulum is swinging because of that. Now, when this man holds a phone in his hand, the pendulum won't move. This is because the phone's harmful waves have sucked all his energy. Now, let him hold a phone with cow dung on it, and hold this pendulum over his hand. See, it's moving again… His energy is saved!”

“We drink cow urine and have extracts from her dung, which has kept me healthy even at the age of 76. We make pregnant women eat cow dung and urine paste to ensure a normal delivery. We treat all deadly diseases with cow dung. But the gobar should be of our Indian desi cow and not western monsters like Jersey or Holstein. Their dung and milk are nothing but poison,” the newspaper quoted him as saying.

Hubballi, Mar 25: The people living in rural areas of North-Karnataka region have become more aware about deadly Corona virus as they are leaving no stone unturned to prevent people of Bengaluru and other metropolitan cities from entering into their villages. People have put thorny plants on all roads at the outskirts connecting their villages and deployed youths to conduct patrolling round the clock till next 21 days.

Their motto is to prevent their own villagers getting infected from the outsiders especially from cities like Bengaluru and other two-tier cities where positive virus cases are on the rise. They have also take precautionary measures in the wake of Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa's call to the people to return to their native places.

Several people have also dug up the roads leading to their villages to block the entry of outside vehicles. They have put a condition to the outsiders to enter into their villages only after proper health check-up to confirm that they are not infected with Corona positive.

"We don't have access to the proper medical care if Corona virus is entered into our village. The Primary Health Centres are not functioning properly and these centers are facing lack of adequate staff and medical equipments unlike in big cities. Therefore, those who have deserted our village to employ in various jobs in Bengaluru and other cities should confirm that they are tested negative for the virus", said Mallikarjun Patil of Kudal village in Hangal taluk of Haveri district. The village has totally banned the outsiders into their village and warned their fellow villagers to return immediately if they have visited to their relatives' homes in neighboring villages to observe 21-day lockdown.

Hundreds of youths in Itanal village of Chikkodi taluk of Belagavi have also resorted to similar tactics and patrolling in all roads at the outskirts by holding sticks to prevent outsiders from entering into their village until April 14.

People of Hunagunti village in Ron taluk and Kotamuchagi village in Gadag taluk have also adopted similar plan by parking tractors at th outskirts to prohibit the entry of outsiders. They have also created awareness in their villages by beating drums urging the people not to venture outside village for next three weeks.

The police officials have resorted to lati-charge at various places in urban areas when people gathered in large numbers to buy essential commodities.

Bengaluru, Jul 28: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) on Monday advised people not to visit temples, mosques and other places of worship during the coming festival season.

"COVID-19 is now spreading rapidly in Karnataka, especially in Bengaluru. The festival season is starting with Varamahalakshmi festival on July 31, followed by Bakrid, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, Gowri Ganesha, Moharram and then Onam. This festival season is the riskiest time for the spread of the coronavirus. Therefore, please STRICTLY follow the rules in order to stay safe. Do not visit religious places even if they are officially declared open," a notification from BBMP said.

In the context of Bakrid, unauthorised animal sacrifice (slaughtering) was prohibited in BBMP limits on roads and sidewalks, religious places, school and college premises, playgrounds and other public areas, as per the Karnataka Municipal Corporation Act of 1976.

"Unauthorised animal sacrifice (slaughtering) is a punishable offence under Section 3 of the Karnataka Prevention of Animal Sacrifices Act 1959 and Rules and the Amendment Act 1975, which provides for a maximum penalty of six months or Rs 1000, or both. According to the Karnataka Prevention of Animal Sacrifices Act 1959, slaughter-worthy animals can only be slaughtered in official slaughterhouses," the notification said.
