Dakshina kannada receives excess rainfall

Mangaluru, Jul 6: The coastal district of Dakshina Kannada has received excess rainfall than the normal in June this year.

Kumar, additional deputy commissioner, said during a meeting with officials here that as against the normal average rainfall of 942 mm, the district has received 944 mm rainfall in June.

The disrict and the coastal belt has been witnessing heavy downpour for the past few days.

The district has received 124.4 cms of rains from January to July this year as against the 109.8 cms recorded last year during the same period, he added.

Bareilly, Jun 22: The All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Islam, a religious and social organisation headed by five senior clerics, has issued a fatwa to boycott Chinese products in the country.

The clerics said the community members should stand with the army and government in this hour.

Expressing concern over India-China face-off, National general secretary of All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Islam, Maulana Shahbuddin Rizvi expressed concern over the India-China face-off and said, "A fatwa has been passed for boycotting Chinese products on a query posted by a Bareilly-based resident. The clerics in the fatwa have condemned the conspiracy of China to encroach upon Indian land and the killing of our brave soldiers."

The panel of five clerics include national president of All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Islam Mufti Ashfaq Hussain Qadri, Mufti Iqbal Ahmad Misbahi, Mufti Tauqir Ahmad Qadri, Mufti Hashim Raza Khan and Qari Saghir Ahmad Rizvi.

our beloved soldier died in border fighting  and now in media more priority for susanth singh rajput...

 

who is real life hero here...soldier or film actor..

after our soldier dies not even get full compesation for our army...look what happen after pulwama...only one day they put 1000 rs flower and put crocodile tear and do some bashan..went home and slept...

no political netha son or relative die for this country...To change the system we should change our mind and heart..unite all indian irrespective of religion and cast..we can achive victory in all front

Bengaluru, May 18: With the detection of 99 fresh cases of COVID-19, highest single-day spike, including 24 from Bengaluru Urban district, the total number of persons contracted for the disease in the state has surged to 1,246.

Apart from 24 fresh cases in Bengaluru Urban district, Mandya recorded 17 cases followed by Uttara Kannada (09), Raichur (06), Yadagiri (06), Gadaga (05), Kalaburagi (10), Hassan (04), Koppal (03), Vijayapura (05), Mysuru (01), Belagavi (02), Ballari (01), Udupi (01), Kodagu (01) and Koppal (03).

So far 37 persons had succumbed to the virus in the state.

Mangaluru, June 6: As many as 24 coronavirus positive cases reported in Dakshina Kannada in 24 hours (from 5 p.m. June 5 to 5 p.m. June 6). 

With this the total number of covid-19 cases mounted to 167, among which 88 are currently active. 

Among the newly detected 24 cases 11 are Maharashtra returnees, 6 are Dubai returnees, 1 is Arabia returnee, 1 is Ukraine/Turkey returnee. And source of 5 new cases still remained untraced.
