New Delhi, Jun 28 A video has emerged showing a group of Hindutva extremists forcing two Muslims youths to eat cow dung and drink cow urine for allegedly transporting beef over a fortnight ago.

Gurgaon Gau Rakshak Dal, an extremist group, infamous for spreading communal hatred in BJP-ruled Haryana and neighbouring states, has openly claimed responsibility for this heinous act. However, the police have arrested the victims instead of the members of the extremist group.

Admitting that they had forced the two men — Rizwan and Mukhtiar — to eat “panchgavya” (concoction of cow dung, cow urine, milk, curd and ghee), Dharmendra Yadav, president of the Dal, said: “We taught them a lesson and purified them too.”

Yadav claimed that on June 10 activists of his group, acting on a tip-off, intercepted a vehicle transporting “700 kg of beef from Mewat to Delhi” on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway. He said that his group chased the car for 7 kilometres before stopping it near the Badarpur border.

In the video, the two men can be seen sitting on the road, with the panchgavya' before them, attempting to wash it down their throats with water. Meanwhile, the miscreants are seen threatening and forcing the duo to consume the concoction. They are also forced to chant Gau Mata ki Jai' and Jai Shri Ram' as they swallow the mixture.

Towards the end of the 57-second video, the men begin to throw up on the roadside. The video comes to an abrupt end when a man is heard saying “turn off the video”.

However, Yadav claimed that he did not know who had shot the video. The Gau Raksha Dal reportedly handed over the two men to the police following the incident.

Anil Kumar, Station House Officer (SHO) of Sarai Khwaja police station, said that the two men (the victims) had been arrested on June 10. He said the meat in the car was confirmed to be beef.

Faridabad police PRO Sube Singh said that the Gau Raksha Dal had caught two men transporting 300 kg beef in an Accent car bearing a Delhi registration number. He said the case had been handed over to the Faridabad police because of the jurisdiction of crime. The duo have been booked under the Prohibition of Cow Slaughter Act. Later, they were sent to judicial custody.

The beef has been destroyed, said the PRO. However, he claimed the police had no knowledge of any video that had been shot forcing the duo to eat cow dung.

The Gau Raksha Dal is infamous for its attacks on trucks and other vehicles in Haryana and Punjab allegedly carrying or transporting beef. The Dal has posted videos online proudly showing off its attacks. In a typical video, those driving the trucks are dragged out and brutally beaten even as the police watch helplessly.

You don't want to eat beef, then don't eat. Don't force others to follow your religion.
If you want to force others, then stop Millions of tons of Central govt. supported BEEF exports first.
This is how you start attacking on us on pretext of Gau Matha. When they retaliate you label them as TERRORISTS. These actions will lead to communal clashes and eventually may lead to civil war and end up loosing lakhs of lives of INDIANS.

Modi deserves same treatment. In his government india reached no.1 position in beef exporting. Without killing the name sake god cow, and without the support of modi, its impossible to reach no.1 position in beef exporting.

Muslims should attack on RSS by feeding humans waste. We will purify them by feeding humans shit, because muslims eat Hindu God, and it comes out in the form of shit.It should be called as prasada for them.

Newsroom, Jan 29: Karnataka’s capital has earned the unwelcome distinction of global capital of traffic congestion. According to a report by TomTom, the Netherlands-based global provider of navigation, traffic and map products, Bengaluru beat 415 other cities across 57 countries to earn the title of world's most traffic congested city in 2019.

“Bengaluru takes the top spot this year with drivers in the southern Indian city expecting to spend an average of 71% extra travel time stuck in traffic," TomTom said in the ninth edition of its annual Traffic Index.

Three other Indian cities, namely, Mumbai, Pune and New Delhi are also ranked in the 2019 edition of TomTom’s Traffic Index of the world’s most traffic-congested cities.

The report released on Tuesday ranks cities by the average time added to a trip. TomTom index also includes details on when congestion is heaviest and lightest, how highways compare with surface streets, and how much time drivers wasted waiting for other drivers to get out of their way.

Following closely on the heels of Bengaluru is Manila, Philippines, with the similar 71% traffic congestion. Among the top five worst traffic affected cities are Mumbai and Pune from India at the fourth and fifth place respectively, while Bogota, Colombia is on third spot.

Delhi, the national capital of India is on the 8th spot, while Moscow (Russia), Lima (Peru), Istanbul (Turkey) and Jakarta (Indonesia) are on 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th spot respectively.

Mumbai recorded a 65% traffic congestion with 9th September, 2019 being the worst day. On an average, a Mumbaikar lost 209 hours in traffic congestion. Pune has 59% traffic congestion with 2nd August, 2019 being the worst day. 193 hours are lost due to congestion. Delhi, on the other hand, has 56% traffic congestion. 23rd October, 2019 was the worst day, while 190 hours are lost in traffic congestion.

Interestingly, among all the four Indian cities, Delhi has the most number of cars. Previous studies have concluded that Delhi has the best road conditions among the Metro cities of India.

If you are wondering what exactly the percentages mean, a 53% congestion level in Bangkok, for example, means that a trip will take 53% more time than it would during Bangkok’s baseline uncongested conditions.

TomTom calculates the baseline per city by analyzing free-flow travel times of all vehicles on the entire road network – recorded 24/7, 365 days a year. The report by Dutch navigation and mapping company ranks cities by the average time added to a trip. It also includes details on when congestion is heaviest and lightest, and how much time drivers wasted waiting for other drivers to get out of their way.

Bengaluru, Apr 18: Virtually defending the Gowda family for conducting a marriage reportedly defying lockdown restrictions, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Tuesday said it was performed in a simple manner and well within their limits, "for which they are to be congratulated."

"All the necessary permissions were given and the marriage was performed in a simple manner. There is no need to discuss about it. They had done it well within their limits for which I congratulate them," Yediyurappa said to a query from reporters during the post-COVID-19 briefing.

Scores of people had thronged a farmhouse on Friday to get a glimpse of the wedding of former Prime Minister and JD (S) supremo, H D Deve Gowda's grandson Nikhil Kumaraswamy, ignoring appeals not to visit the venue in view of the ongoing lockdown to check the COVID-19 outbreak. Nikhil, son of former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, tied the nuptial knot with Revathi, the grand-niece of former Karnataka housing minister M Krishnappa.

The marriage was solemnised at Kumaraswamy's Kethaganahalli farmhouse at Bidadi in the neighbouring Ramanagara district, a JD(S) stronghold. Kumaraswamy had taken to Twitter after the marriage, thanking his party MLAs, leaders and workers for staying away from the event and blessing his son from their houses. In a series of tweets, he had said social distancing was maintained and all precautionary measures were taken throughout the event.

BJP had hit out at the JD(S) first family for flouting the norms, alleging that at least 150 to 200 vehicles were given permission to attend the event, that too at at time when social workers wanting to serve the badly affected poor people were not being allowed to ply any form of transport JD(S) leader N H Konareddi and MLC T A Sharavanna had denied the charges, saying the union government guidelines had been followed and that social distancing was maintained.

In a shocking incident, a pharmacist-cum-production manager of an Ayurvedic product company in Chennai’s T.Nagar died after drinking a chemical preparation he reportedly formulated for tackling the Coronavirus.

The managing director of the company, who is an ophthamologist by qualification, was hospitalised after he fainted soon after he ingested the chemical component.

The deceased, K.Sivanesan, 47, of Perungudi, was with Chennai-based Sujatha Biotech, an Ayurvedic and herbal products company which was founded 30 years ago. It has a plant in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, where Sivanesan was working. Sivanesan had devised formulas of various products and used to visit his managing director Dr. Rajkumar frequently in the city.

Due to the lockdown, Sivanesan came to Chennai and stayed with his family in Perungudi. On Thursday morning, he procured the chemical component from a market in Parry’s Corner.

First he gave a small amount powder he derived from the chemical to 67 years-old Rajkumar who fainted after tasting it.

Even as he was being resuscitated, Sivanesan went into the kitchen of the house and gulped it in liquid form after adding water to it. He could not be revived.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, T.Nagar, Ashok Kumar, said, “Our investigation revealed that Sivanesan died after drinking the preparation he claimed would help COVID-19 patients. His managing director fainted after tasting it initially. Further investigation is on.”

Sivanesan was rushed to a private hospital in T.Nagar and declared dead by the doctors there. Later his body was shifted to Government Royapettah Hospital for post-mortem. Teynampet police registered a case under section 174 of Criminal Procedure Code for unnatural death.

N.S.Vasan, designer-cum-media manager of the company said, “Due to the lockdown, Sivanesan stayed in the city and one day told us he heard of some medicine from U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent speech for curing Coronavirus. He said it would bring more immunity and help to prevent COVID-19. Deciding to test the effect of the medicine, he went to Parry’s Corner and bought the powder.” He added that Sivanesan must have taken a heavy dosage of the ‘drug’ and he was killed instantly.
