Kuwait City, May 4: Indian Muslim Association, Kuwait is conducting an online quiz starting from May 1 to May 20, 2012 open to all the communities residing in Kuwait.

Participants have to answer the 20 questions selected from the Biography of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). Winners will be awarded with attractive prizes.

The first prize will be a laptop model Lenovo i5. Second prize will be Samsung mobile and Galaxy Ace Plus S7500. Third prize will be blackberry mobile 8520. Many more consolation prizes also will be awarded, stated a press release issued by the organisers.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.

Dubai, Aug 6: Non-resident Indian entrepreneur and philanthropist Dewakara Alva passed away on Thursday August 6. He was 63.

Alva, who hailed from Mangaluru, was the director of Federal Insurance Brokers LLC, Dubai and was residing in Dubai for around four decades. He was reportedly suffering from health problems for last few months. 

He was a patron of Tulu and Kannada language and culture in United Arab Emirates. He was a member of various NRI organizations including UAE Tulu Koota and UAE Bunts

Alva is survived by wife Saritha, daughter Powshali, and son Manal.
