Bhatkal, February 21: A married woman committed suicide by hanging herself using a sari in Sasihitlu in Murdeshwar in Bhatkal taluk. The victim, Netravathi Shankar Harikant (25), hailed from Ankola and had been married off to Murdeshwar. The reason for the extreme step is not known. The Murdeshwar police are investigating the case.
