Udupi, April 1: The Udupi City Municipal Council (CMC) on Saturday approved a surplus budget of Rs. 81.09 lakh for 2012-13 at its general body meeting here. The budget presented by CMC president Kiran Kumar showed receipts at Rs. 136.66 crore while the expenditure had been projected at Rs. 135.84 crore.
