Madikeri, Sept 28: A man committed suicide by shooting himself at his coffee curing house at Hudikekre in the district, police said on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Achyanda Sunil (44), who owns coffee estate and coffee curing units. The reason behind the act, which happened on Friday, was yet to be known, police further said.
