P A Hameed Padubidri, Riyadh-KSA
December 23, 2018

Riyadh: "Seeing to make divisions between Muslims & common Hindus, and creating constant fear in the minds of Muslims, Christians, Dalits, Adivasis and others is the main agenda of fascist forces in India; it shows pseudo ideology that would result in hate and animosity; political power is a big weapon in the hands of fascists to implement their devious ideology", Dr. Hussain Madavoor opined.

He was talking in seminar captioned-"Neo-Fascism & its Cultural Capture" organized December 21, at 7pm by Riyadh Indian Islahi Center at Batha in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. He inaugurated the seminar.

Continuing his talk, Dr Hussain said-"Muslims, Christians, Dalits & other backward castes including all secular minded people should come forward on minimum common programs & use their constitutional & democratic means of fight to defeat the fascist elements in India; ballot is the strong weapon to defeat such forces....".

He also stated-"In order to fight against communal forces & to trample their divisive ideas, Muslims should not resort for the same kind of approach, which would result in more damages to the community than solution; we have constitution, police, courts & other governmental machineries to restore our rights & to punish the wrongdoers; the same type of aggressions & communal ideologies is not going to benefit our community at all; this is what our Mujahid/Salafis' strong approach; we need to respect our system & at the same time, we need to combat against fascist forces, which are dangerous for the well-being of our country .....".

Dr. Hussain Madvoor is one of the scholars & vice-president of KNM, Kerala. He is the special guest from India invited by the Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on the occasion of Janadriyah Festival, which is the exhibition of the Saudi Arabian culture & heritages. The festival was inaugurated on Thursday 20-Dec-2018.

Mr. Jayan Kodungallur, journalist & one of the key intellectual speakers on the occasion stated-"Fascism spread its wings in all spheres in our country (India) that divide the people & is trying to spread the false propaganda; fascism is the opposite of secularism, which is embedded in our constitution & upholds the human relations..."

He also stated that fascist forces are working day & night for the division & ruling, which is the basis of fascist ideology; however, the recent election results of 5 Indian states (MP, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Telangana & Mizoram) shows that the secular fabrics are still alive & people are thinking towards co-existence rather than breakups. We need to have a united force based on secularism that comprised of liberal Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Dalits & others alike..".

Mr. Subramanyan, thinker and another key speaker on the dais, also highlighted the relevance of unified force in the present scenario to defeat the divisive policy of fascist forces...."

He also reiterated that those who played role in the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi are made heroes now; they are being posed as real Indian patriot; but in reality they are not...".

Speaking on the occasion, Indian Islahi Center's organizing secretary Saaduddeen Swalahi Kavannur emphasized on the significance of muslim education especially on civil examination (viz. IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS etc.) instead of going behind traditional medical, engineering etc; he also urged for the community to be well aware of political right & to use the right meticulously so that their vote should not be polarized between weak independent candidate & political parties.

He also said-"we are not calling upon to support any particular political party; but need to get united against communal parties, who adopted the policy of divide & rule; we need to see any secular party to win in the election..."

Bengaluru, Mar 13: Senior IPS officer KSR Charan Reddy, who was the Additional Director General of Police in Criminal Investigation Department, Karnataka passed away in Bengaluru on Friday after prolonged illness.

He was reportedly battling cancer for at least three years now and had suffered multiple recurs after treatment.

"Shri Charan Reddy, IPS, ADGP, Karnataka State, passed away this morning, after a prolonged illness. He was one of our finest officers. Always stood tall and held his head high!! May his soul rest in peace," Retired IPS officer and former Director General of Police (Fire Services) MN Reddi tweeted.

IPS officer Charan Reddy was heading the Special Investigation Team of the Lokayukta when he arrested Vijayanagara MLA Anand Singh in 2015 for illegally transporting iron ore out of Ballari. The illegal mining scam had rocked the former BJP government in 2011.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa condoled his death and said that he was an honest officer in the state. "Charan Reddy was a dedicated and honest officer. I pray that his soul rests in peace. I pray that god gives his family the strength to go through such a turbulent time after his departure," BS Yediyurappa tweeted.

A 1993-batch IPS officer, Charan Reddy KSR is originally from Chittoor and has served under various departments of the state's police force. He was serving as the Inspector General of Police in Belagavi division in 2013, when he was transferred to Bengaluru as the IGP (Training). In 2014, he was posted as the IGP of the SIT probing the illegal mining scam in which former Tourism Minister Gali Janardhana Reddy is also allegedly involved.

He was transferred out of the SIT in Lokayukta in 2016 and posted as Additional Commissioner of Police (law and order) in Bengaluru. He served as the ADGP of Crime in Mangaluru in 2018 and was later appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (training) the same year. In 2019, he was transferred and appointed as the ADGP of CID.

Lucknow, Feb 4: Even as anti-NRC protests continue to rage across the country, the Lucknow University has queered the pitch by demanding citizenship proof from RTI applicants.

The Lucknow University (LU) refused to provide the information sought by the people who filed the Right to Information (RTI) unless they furnished the proof that they were Indian citizens.

Alok Chantia, one of the RTI applicants who was refused information by the varsity, said that he had lodged a complaint with the vice-chancellor of the varsity but even then he could not get the desired information.

"It is shocking how the university has twisted the RTI law as per its whims and fancy. It does not have any authority to do so," said the RTI applicant.

Chantia, also a faculty member at a degree college here, had sought details of appointment of teachers for self-financed courses and their pay scale.

"It is possible that some applicants who may not be familiar with the provisions of the RTI, may have furnished proof of their citizenship to the varsity to get the information but that cannot become a rule," he pointed out.

When contacted, university officials admitted that such a practice had been going on in the varsity for the past few years.

"This practice started during the tenure of the former vice-chancellor S.P. Singh and still continues," said a senior varsity official.

Tumakuru, Jan 8: RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat stoked controversy on Wednesday by stating that 'Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is full of traitors'.

He was addressing the media after taking part in a pro-CAA rally organised by National Citizens Forum near the office of the deputy commissioner of the district here.

Bhat said, “JNU is full of traitors. Congress and communist parties have been generating anti-nationals there. But there is no need to close the university down. Modi government will handle it.”

“Nationalism should be infused among the students there through love and trust. They should be made to realize what the truth is,” he said.

Unfortunate, still he has poor followers to believe him.

He is safe at home and sacrifiers are poor boys who blindly believe and obey him.

This guy is sick and irriversible.

God will reward him so that his followers believe his exploiting orders.
