UT Khader, Karnataka clerics attend Al-Qadisa mega get-together in Dammam

Dammam: UT Khader, the health and family welfare minister of Karnataka, was the centre of attraction at the get-together of Indian expatriate families organised by the Dammam unit of Al-Qadisa Educational Academy at Panorama Function Hall (Istirah) in Dammam 91 Area.

According to organisers, a record number of around 2,000 people participated in the event thanks to the presence of their beloved minister from Karnataka besides Ulema luminaries.

Al- qadisa Educational Academy is an educational Institution coming up at Kavalkatte in Bantwal Taluk under the leadership Moulana Dr Muhammad Fazil Razwi, known as “Kavalkatte Hazrath”. The intended educational academy is going to be a part of a mega community and educational campus coming up in Kavalkatte which will comprise projects such as an educational home for ‘differently abled children’, a housing colony with 200 houses for the poor and destitute, College to teach Islamic Sciences and series of modern school and college education premises.

The Kannadiga diaspora in the Gulf, especially the expatriate community in Jubail, Dammam and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia are the rock solid supporters of Kavalkatte Hazrath in realizing the dream of this educational and community campus based on Ahlsunnah principles.

The Ulema leader of Karnataka Usthad Ibrahim Musliyar Bekal inaugurated the function with a message to people to remain steadfast followers of Qur’an and Sunnah by learning religious teachings from authentic lineage. Sayed Atakoya Thangal, the president of Dakshina Karantaka Sunni Centre expressed happiness that ‘Hazrath’ is backed by huge expatriate community in this region and wished growth and prosperity for the Al- Qadisa Committees.

Mr Khader was the chief guest on the occasion. He was pleased to see the huge gathering and the enthusiasm of the expatriates. He praised profusely the leadership of Mr. Aboobakkar Raisco Padubidre for making it unparalleled gathering and also honoured him.

The most respected ‘ Usthadul Asaatheed’ Shaik Ali Kunhi Musliyar conducted ‘dua’ in the beginning of the program. Janab Azeez Musliyar recited Qur’an. Ummar Farook Katipalla, the Secretary of ‘Mulaqat’ committee welcomed everyone. Thalakki Muhammad Saqafi proposed vote of thanks.

Mr. Zakariya Muzain, the CEO of Al- Muzain Group of Companies Jubail gave a motivational speech to encourage the service spirit of community volunteers in Dammam region. He lauded the effort done by Dammam Unit of AL- QADISA led by Mr. Aboobakkar Padubidre. He also appreciated the assistance rendered by Jubail Unit of AL- Qadisa. In the midst of enthusiasm generated by speeches, a goat was auctioned. The auction process was led by none other than Zakariya Muzain. The charismatic Zakariya Muzain created an euphoria in the auction process and thus generated ‘a considerable contribution’ towards Al- Qadisa Educational Academy.

Moulana Dr. Muhammad Fazil Razwi, the chairman of the Academy gave valuable message while delivering the key note speech. Janab Sufiyan Saqafi, the principal of AL- Qadisa Academy spoke about the Institution of Hazrath’s vision for the growth of it. The mesmerizing ‘Duff’ program lead Janab Basheer Usthad was the ultimate moment of delight in the gathering and it won all round appreciation from everyone. Mr. Aboobakkar Padubidre, the president of Al- QADISA committee in Dammam spoke his heart and explained the success story of this huge gathering. He generously remembered the great assistance extended by Mr. Haneef Manjanady, Mr. Asif Goodinabali, Mr. Kodi Abobakkar, Mr. Ibrahim Bantwal and many others who worked behind the screen. Mr. Aboobakkar wholeheartedly remembered how Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) stood solidly behind him giving all organizational, volunteer and fieldwork support. He appreciated the organizational strength of KCF which helps various Ahlsunnah committees to flourish in Saudi Arabia.

Mr Shareef, CEO of Whitestone, Nazeer Hussain Padubidri, Managing Director of AL- Falah group of companies, Sarfraz Raisco Riyad, Muhammad Younus Riyadh, PP Ahmed Saqafi Kashipatna, Kalkatta Razwi, Ismail Kannagar, Mr. Shahul Hameed and Mr. Asif Amaco were present as guests on the stage. The program was managed by a team comprising Mr. Kamarudeen, Mr. Syed Bawa and Mr. Naushad Thalapady.

AL- QADISA volunteer group comprising mostly members from KCF led by its commander Mr. Mohammad Belthangady did a commendable job as volunteers and earned appreciation of everyone. Sumptuous dinner was served along eateries.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.

Manama: Kannada Sangha Bahrain President Mr. Pradeep Shetty and Vice President of Bahrain's prestigious KHK HEROES Foundation Mohammed Mansoor on Monday, May 11, met The Second Secretary (Consular & CW) of the Embassy of India, Bahrain Mr. P. K. Chowdhury in the Indian Embassy. 

The situation, problems and relief of Indians and Kannadigas residing in Bahrain during the COVID 19 Pandemic was discussed in detail. The distribution of food (dry ration) kits, as well as those seeking repatriation, was also discussed in the meeting.

When asked about the repatriation of distressed Kannadigas, the Second Secretary said that though the number of Kannadigas who wish to return home is not much compared to the rest of the states, still Embassy is compiling all the information and will do the needful soon. 

Mr. Shetty and Mr. Mansoor told the Second Secretary that those who are in problem can contact them and they are ready to do their best.
